I've been thinking about going to one of those ';car wash'; spray tan places. Has anyone ever done this? Does the tan look natural? How long does it last? ANd how much did you pay? THanks!Question about spray tanning?
well, all i know is that after a few weeks, u hav to keep going back cuz it gets al splotchey and it looks orangeQuestion about spray tanning?
depends of the quality of the spray they use. the ones i've seen, they look natural, the only bad thing is that it does were off after you've showed a few times, and it usually doesn't come off evenly.
I am not exactly sure how you pay for that in america, but here (south america) with 20$ you can get a decent one.
It does not look natural. It only last for a week or so and it makes you feel stuffy. You can't shower for 24 hours after because it will wash off. It came off on my clothes too for the first day or two when perspiring.
There are different levels of tan that you can get.
Some are darker(which I think look fake) and some are more subtle, which is probably the best.
It can be sort of pricey depending on where you go...
I think a better alternative would be to get some home tanner, yourself.
There are some really awesome brands that make some authentic looking tan creams.
I've used Jergens natural glow
Daily Moisturizer and it works great! You can just slather it on after you shower and you're getting moistureized at the sime time. Also they have a completely seperate one for you face, which really helps.
They come in different levels depending on how dark you wanna go! You dont get the full effect right away, instead it takes about a week to build up to your final shade. This is great, because you dont look like you all of a sudden changed color! And...you can monitor how dark you get so you dont get too dark.
ANY fake tan is better than a real tan! Just remember that. Taking care of your skin now will ensure that you have great skin later.
Also, another fake tanner to buy, that works AWESOME I hear, is Fake Bake...
You can buy it here :

How do you remove sunless tanning spray?
The quickest way to remove it is by washing with soap and a washrag. The washrag is key. The quicker you wash after application, the better. If it's really set in, you can wash it away (to a hard to tell level) in about three or four days. How do you remove sunless tanning spray?
If it's the professional kind, you cant. It reacts with the pigments in your skin. It should wear off in 2 to 3 days though. How do you remove sunless tanning spray?
take a shower and SCRUBBB urself with soap or body wash..which ever you use..then when u r outtah the shower make sure u like rubb urself dry so u know all of the stuff came of..goood luck!
I've heard that you can put lemon juice on a cotton swab and wipe the tanning spray off, but I have never personally tried it. If you do try it, I would make sure to use lotion afterwards because lemon juice is very acidic, and I would imagine very drying.

African americans getting spray tans?
Okay I hear about people getting spray tans all the time and it had me thinking about an african american getting one.
What would happen if an african american (both parent are black, not mixed) got a spray tan that was a shade lighter than their color or the same color?African americans getting spray tans?
they would get weird looks at the tanning salon but to answer your question it wont do muchAfrican americans getting spray tans?
It's actually works out very well if a black American decides to get a spray tan. However, it depends where on the body. Full body, yes, you can expect a shade darker (duh! lol), a shade lighter most likely won't show on the skin. But for those who have uneven skin tone, stretch marks, noticeable beauty marks, etc. a spray tan is an excellent alternative to cover up.
No it wont work it will only make you a different shade! You could use a spray tan to hide imperfections or even skin tone but as for lightening your actual color it won't work. You could try Belo Essentials whitening products they might help.... but I wouldn't worry too much about your skin tone ! Beauty comes in all colors :]
If it was lighter they would be lighter, if its the same color they are going to get darker, i thought that was common sense. Do you realize that African Americans tan naturally? I'm just wonderings cause a lot of people for w/e reason just don't know that.
it wouldnt be called ';tan'; the purpose of tanning to be darker..so in contrast getting lighter would be bleaching not tanning

For people who have gotten spray tans before. . ? 10 POINTS!?
Im going to get a spray tan this Saturday,
but I'm going some where on Sunday.
So the question is:
will the tan be orage or red or something?
Ad if it is how long does it take to get to a natural tan?For people who have gotten spray tans before. . ? 10 POINTS!?
When I got a spray tan I didnt look orange, and i'm a very pale person. Just make sure you get the right color (choices are 1, 2, 3..).
A problem i did have with the spray tan is botchiness. Make sure afterwars you pat away and dripping spray on your body. WASH YOUR HANDS afterwards. And before hand make sure you scrub ur body of dead skin cells.
Natural Tans take time, i wud suggest tanning beds, they work great for me. You will notice urself darker in 3 days. For people who have gotten spray tans before. . ? 10 POINTS!?
I can't say much about spray tans, but from what I heard, it can make you orange. Natural tans depend on the person. Me, I run a lot outside, but I see myself becoming tanner after a few days. Few of my other friends however need a lot of sun for a tan. Natural Tans are good for you, since sunlight on the skin creates Vitamin D, but EVERYTHING in MODERATION. Don't tan all the time, cause you can mess up your skin.
Just from experience, I would get it done at least 3 days before whatever event youre attending. It can make you orange and you need the 3 days for it to fade into a normal color.

Is tanning spray bad for you?
just wondering. and i'm pale too, would it work on me?Is tanning spray bad for you?
the spray isn't bad for you but the beds are. you can do it if you are pale just be careful because some products/salons will make you look orange. Is tanning spray bad for you?
yes it would work. but it's probably the worst thing you could possibly do for your skin and body. don't do it. i'm pale too; embrace it.
The spray is just fine. I highly recommend exfoliating before spraying
ask yourself this: would you rather be tan now...or have some serious skin wrinkles and age spots when you are older?
