Questions about spray tanning?

i want to get a spray tan for a vacation in a week.


i don't want my skin to be that much darker but i still need a tan.


at the tanning place i want to go to the people there spray it on themselves. its not a machine that sprays it. is that good? I REALLYdon'tt want to look orange, but since im not gonna try a much darker shade, that should be okay, right?

a sparay tan is much better than uv light .. but i had one of my friends get a spray tan and it looked horrinble(uneven and blotchy) soo make sure u trust the person that is doing ur spray tan!Questions about spray tanning?
I love getting air brushed-I used to get it done for pageants and I had it done for my wedding. It is better then the beds and MUCH better then the spray booths that I find streak and look green.





Airbrushed tanning can last several days to 2 weeks depending upon how much you sweat, the oils in your skin, and how much you shower. Make sure you only pat dry. I also recommend getting the lotion most places have to put on after showers.





Make sure you put clear nail polish on your fingers and toe nails so your nails don't turn orangey-I find this happens with my toe nails.





Some places will insist that you put lotion on your elbows, knees, and heels while others say no- trust me-put lotion on. This will make your tan look the freshest.





Bring loose clothes with you-no bra and flip flops.


Make sure you exfoliate well the night before and shave or wax. The less you can shave with your tan, the longer it lasts.





Also think about how much you want to wear on your vacation. You don't want to wear granny panties during your tan and then have a smaller bathing suit on because you will see the tan lines.

if you go too dark it will leave highly! noticeable cut off marks at your wrists and ankles. like a 3 year old took crayons and colored tan.





overall the 2 ways to get tan are:


tan outside and risk cancer


tan in a bed and be a cancer magnet


or get a tanning lotion





the best tanning lotion is jergens if you really want a safe tan


because its not very effective but still gives a slight tan

Savannah put on some tanning lotion instead of spray, but still. She put on a little a day and soon she was orange! Lol i laughed. You don't wanna be orange so i wouldn't, everyone laughed at her, they could tell that it was fake.
